Check ScriptHookRDR2
The mods also need ScriptHookRDR2 by Alexander Blade. If it is not in your game folder yet, download it from dev-c.com and copy ScriptHookRDR2.dll and dinput8.dll next to RDR2.exe.

Start story mode
Launch Red Dead Redemption 2 and load a story mode save — not Red Dead Online. Keep the launcher running.

Red Dead Redemption 2 updates and ScriptHookRDR2
When Rockstar patches Red Dead Redemption 2, ScriptHookRDR2 may need a new version before script mods load again. If your mods stop working right after a game update, check ScriptHookRDR2 on dev-c.com for a newer release and replace both files in your game folder. The launcher keeps the StreamEmber mod and runtime up to date on its own.
Tip: if your store lets you postpone updates, avoid updating the game right before a planned stream.

The mods run only on your PC in single-player story mode. Rockstar bans modding in Red Dead Online, so never go online with mods installed.
Do the mods work in Red Dead Online?
No. They are for story mode only; using mods in Red Dead Online can get your account banned.
Do I need to own Red Dead Redemption 2?
Yes. You need your own legal PC copy from Steam, Epic Games or Rockstar. StreamEmber does not sell or include the game.
