Adding an overlay to TikTok LIVE Studio

To add a StreamEmber overlay to TikTok LIVE Studio, copy the overlay's personal link in the StreamEmber Launcher and paste it into a new Link source in your LIVE Studio scene. The overlay then reacts to gifts, likes and comments on your LIVE. The same link also works as a Browser Source in OBS.

You need the free StreamEmber Launcher for Windows 10/11 and a StreamEmber account. Every widget, from goal bars to top gifter lists, is described on our TikTok LIVE overlays page, and they all work together with our interactive TikTok LIVE games.

Step by step: add the overlay link

    Open the overlay gallery

    In the launcher, open Overlays → Gallery and pick a widget, for example a goal bar, top gifters or the event feed.

    Pick a style and customize

    Choose a look under Style, then click Customize to change colours, texts and size. The preview uses sample data, so you can check it before saving.

    Copy the link

    Click Copy link. The link is personal to your account, so don't post it in chat or share it with others.

    Add a Link source in LIVE Studio

    In TikTok LIVE Studio, add a new source to your scene, choose the Link source type and paste the link.

    Position the overlay

    Resize and move it in the LIVE Studio preview. Keep the overlay layer above your game or camera so it isn't hidden.

    Connect to your LIVE

    Go live and connect the launcher on Live Stream → Connect to live. Real gifts and likes only appear while the launcher is connected.

Overlay questions

Can I use the same overlay in OBS?

Yes. Paste the same link as a Browser Source in OBS and set the width and height you need. You don't need a separate link for each app.

Why is my overlay blank in TikTok LIVE Studio?

Usually the link is outdated or the overlay needs Premium. Copy the link again from the gallery, check that the overlay is not marked Locked, and make sure the launcher is connected to your LIVE.

Do overlays cost anything?

Overlays without the Locked mark work on a free StreamEmber account. Locked overlays need Premium, which costs 30 USD for 30 days.
