Gifts not triggering game actions

TikTok gifts not triggering game actions in StreamEmber? Check the interaction, the active profile, that the game is running, and cooldown or queue rules.

If gifts show up in the StreamEmber Launcher but nothing happens in the game, the problem is between the event and the game: the gift has no interaction, you edited a different profile, the game is not running, or a rule such as cooldown, queue or minimum value is holding the action back. The steps below check each one.

First make sure events reach the launcher at all; if they do not, follow launcher not receiving TikTok LIVE events. To learn how linking gifts to actions works, read gift mapping in StreamEmber.

How to fix gifts that do not trigger actions

    Confirm the gift reaches the launcher

    Open Live Stream and watch Recent events while someone sends the gift. If it is not listed there, the problem is the connection, not the game.

    Check that the gift has an interaction

    Go to Games, open the game and choose Settings → Interactions. Find an interaction whose Event is exactly this gift. If there is none, use Add interaction, pick the Event and the Action, then click Save settings. Each interaction listens to one event on one platform.

    Check the active profile

    Settings and event mappings are stored per profile. Under Stream Profiles, make sure the profile you edited is the Active one; if not, click Activate or repeat the change in the active profile.

    Make sure the game is running

    Start the game from the launcher with Play and wait until it shows Running. On the Live Stream screen, Active game should show the game as running; not reporting means the game is not talking to the launcher.

    Test with Try in game

    Next to the interaction, click Try in game. It sends the action to the game right away, without a gift. If you see that no connected game was found, the game is not running or not signed in. If the test works but gifts do not, check the rules below.

    Check cooldown, queue and limits

    Open Execution rules on the interaction. A Cooldown blocks repeats for a while, actions in the same Queue run one after another, and per-viewer or per-stream limits stop it after a number of runs. Minimum gift value (coins) ignores smaller gifts, and Trigger when accumulated waits until the Threshold is reached.

Frequently asked questions

Why do big gifts work but small ones do nothing?

The interaction probably has a minimum gift value in coins, or it only fires after gifts add up to a threshold. Lower the minimum or the threshold in the execution rules.

Can one gift trigger more than one action?

Yes. Add a separate interaction with the same gift and a different action. The same gift and action pair can only be added once.

Do games work on a free account?
